Mary Best founded Mary Best Designs in 2003.

Mary attended the London College of Fashion while in school at Iowa State University where she graduated in 1998. Mary developed a love for textiles during her studies at these institutions. This led to her first job at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago where her passion for interior design evolved. She mastered her composition skills while working as a photo stylist for a Chicago advertising firm, decorating home sets for commercial catalogs. Her sewing skills were then mastered while working for an interior design company in Portland, OR.

With every project she strives to listen to her clients to bring out their personal style. Attention to detail, communication and execution are essential in her creative process.

Mary Best Designs serves the Chicago and Milwaukee area because Mary is native to the former and resides in the latter.
